I'm Bethany Johnson.
A designer who creates for the sublime, the defiant, and for those dancing in the in-between. My practice is rooted in storytelling, ritual, and the sacred feminine—where garments become talismans, where adornment becomes identity, and where fashion holds space for transformation. My 'Written in the Stars' collection weaves together astrology, witchcraft, and the electrifying pulse of underground club culture to create pieces that shimmer with intention.

A Kindred Spirit (short film)
Yr 12 final assessment (2023)
The Assessment was to create a 3-5 minute short film based on our own creative brief.
Logline: Willow, an outcast fairy, only wants to be accepted by the other fairies and find a true friend. But when a chaotic fox spirit interferes in the sacred fairy dance, will she be able to protecting the people she loves most?

'Have a break' KitKat Ad - 2024 Uni assessment
Inspired by Fredrick McCubbin's Heidelberg painting series, My Film and Photography unit's final assessment asked us to create a short 30s-1min short film. Inspired by something we felt reflected us and who we are.
